In describing his childhood in Manchester, Karl recalls going to a dance club named Twiggy's Dance Club. Steve and Ricky ask Karl for the full story due to the fact he had mentioned it times before but never in detail.

Karl elaborates that one of his friends had told him he was a good dancer and recommended he visit Twiggy's, so he decided to stop by (in an effort to give him something other than buying milk and bread to write in his diary for school).

Unfortunately, Karl (being Karl) didn't understand that dance clubs don't open up until evening, and when he got there during the day the club was closed and deliverymen were dropping off toilet rolls. A man delivering the toilet rolls told him to come back later yet he never returned, apparently because (again, being Karl) he assumed the club had closed forever, and was now being used as a storage facility for toilet rolls.

Ricky contemptuously describes this as "a waste of an anecdote".

Place Mentioned on 16 March 2002, 17 May 2003, 22 February 2003, 25 January 2003 Anecdote told on Series 1 Episode 10.
