"If you're gonna start "totting up"...."
Karl: Apparently, the mammal, right, that's got..sort of, the pointiest eyes. Eyes that pop out of their head............Steve.

If I made a "best of Karl Pilkington" compilation, I'd include that bit... I don't know why, but that's one of my favourites too. On paper it shouldn't be that funny but just something about how he says it
Ricky: What do you mean, they've got a chicken with teeth? What the FFF - what do you mean there's a chicken with teeth!

Karl: Sounds mad, dunnit.

What makes me laugh is when he says it, and the guys just silent, like "Not really"

I love the way Karl always gets in a dig at poor 'ol Steve's looks. He either does it on the sly, or he is just blatant about it, with my personal favorite being:

I'd think you'd be approached [by prostitutes] a lot because they tend to go for people who look like they haven't got much chance.'

When Steve said something about Mammoths, and Karl just say "Man Muffs?" with so much hope in his voice. Just that tiny moment is brilliant.

lol that's what I thought it was for a while (I'm not from the UK and had never heard of BUPA)

What the hell is "banana facile" a mis-hearing of?
If I was listening to me on the radio, I wouldn't be able to say, "oh, he's a...", ya know? And slag me off an' that, 'cause I don't know what I look like, and I quite like that.
