What annoys you most about the boys?

Mainly on the XFM shows and podcasts, I have to say I think for me it would be the way Ricky often runs over the others speaking, interrupts Karl mid-flow, and generally tries to hog the limelight a lot.

I also don't like the times when Karl comes out with something valid and all he gets is snorts of derision - it's like he can't win even if he does find an interesting fact because nobody ever bloody listens to him because it's Karl. Like the Oliver the chimp story - that was a true story, they even made a C4 documentary about it, but no amount of proof from Karl would convince the others!

Though saying that Karl annoys me too at times. Sometimes you just wish he'd get excited about something - anything. He literally takes no pleasure out of life, its unbelievable.

Steve annoys me least, but he still annoys me. He's quite happy to rip on Karl's looks and personality but he really can't take any of it back, he seems to genuinely get upset and offended at times.

What irritates you about the boys, or any specific moments in the shows that irritated you?

I'd say Karl pretty much annoys me all the way through series 2 of XFM. Rockbusters is tedious, Monkey News is infuriating (I get that it's amusing the first time you hear it, but when I listen back and realise he's adamantly believing these things, I get angry). I hate it when he falls for obvious cons (a la purchasing property on the moon, in the belief that he'll have somewhere to go when the world ends).

What a fucking gump.

I figured it had already been done somewhere.

There is a qualititative difference, however, between 'have they ever annoyed you' and 'what is the most annoying thing about them'.

That's my argument and I'm sticking to it.

Lol, no, was just joking around. Everyone seems intent on making you stop this thread. Not sure why, the RSK Annoyance thread hasn't seen activity all month.

Alot of the thing people get annoyed by are silly, Karl purposely picks stupid stuff and I doubt he actually believed all of it and he admits he tweaks them for a better story. They are all kinda playing roles not acting exactly but exaggerated versions of themselves, Ricky is being more obnoxious than he really is, Steve is the quieter one to give balance and Karl is the div coming out with nonsense. As some posted they hate rockbusters and monkey news my question is why are you on this forum, it's essentially the cornerstone of Karls work if you don't like that how do you like the show at all. Sticking round for holy phuk and the little gay fella?
