Sigourney Weaver did adverts or "commercials" for a cable company called DirecTV. Ricky and Steve were satirising the idea of an actor "selling out" and becoming a spokesperson for a product. Which they would never ever do Barclays Time Warner cable.

Which is the one where the station has problems, resulting in minutes of silence (I thought my mp3 was corrupt!) then suddenly it kicks back in and you hear Ricky screaming about how it's a nightmare and they're all useless?

apologies if this has been asked before, (I'm sure it probably has)
it could probably be added to the Pilki FAQ as well
I have tried to find it by the search function... The pilki page for that episode doesn't explain any further?

Who did karl pick when he was asked who he would save if he only had time to save either Ricky or Steve in the first season of the podcasts?

It was going to be put on the website at the time, but I didn't have access to proper internet at the time and so just forgot about it, 'til the other day when I was listening to it with my gf...

Did it never come out who he would pick? and is that the reason why there is no info on it?
