"April Come She Will" by Simon & Garfunkel.

Caveat: I have never actually heard it.

I was going to say that.

I also think Jonny Cash's version of Hurt is a pretty solid 2nd.

It was a brilliant cover, although I do still prefer the NIN version. Though I prefer him changing the line to "I wear this crown of thorns."

Smashing choices. Although I think I prefer Silent Boulevard by McRae. Adore it.

Some more beautiful songs to be check'd out innitz...

The Rain Will Come by Rocky Votolato
Ára bátur by Sigur Rós
Blessed by Your Own Ghost by Elliott
Jesus Christ by Brand New
Falling Slowly by The Swell Season
Afraid Not Scared by Ryan Adams

I like sad songs :)

I think Buckley has sang nicer songs than Hallelujah to be honest..I like Lover, You Should've Come Over more than that. Nicer tune I think. he lyrics for Halleujah are probably better but then I wouldnt be saying it was Buckleys.

Winner.

We played it at a family funeral a couple of years back. It got to "Thank you for loving me...and for not leaving me" and over a hundred people fell apart.
