You should give a cheeky wink to the camera more often, and you forgot to kick over the drum kit at the end and flip the camera off, but other than that, good stuff.

We've just released our EP. Listen/purchasable here: http://osmiumguillotine.bandcamp.com

I've also popped all the songs on Youtube for anyone that wants a listen.

We're going into the studio to record some more shit in a couple of weeks so I'll be able to spam a load of new songs shortly.

Also... We've been confirmed to be playing next year's "Metal Gods" Festival (a festival hosted by 'Metal Gods TV http://www.metalgodstv.com) - It's in Mansfield which I believe is up North somewhere, certainly the furthest from home we've ever played. I have a new band launching next month. I can't wait. It's the best stuff I've been involved with. We've released nothing but already have a manager and studio time with EMI under our belt. I would take this to the show off thread, but it's not like me to show off, not at all. Feels good to be doing something active for once.

Old project I had with a mate of mine...
Just going through all our old stuff and getting nostalgic, hard to believe this was only a year ago.
The video does look like an as styled by bargain bin NME, Westlife/Take that video, (pretty cheesy)...
Just thought I might as well post it what with it being near Christmas and that.

If anyone wants some links to my new band please get in touch. I'm far too polite to spam links everywhere, but believe me, I would if I could. Which I can. But I shan't.

A mate I often jam with mentioned to me a couple of weeks ago that his dad's band needed a drummer for a battle of the bands they're doing in October. I sort of tentatively agreed although it sounded a bit awk.

Jamming with them tomorrow. There's still loads of the songs I don't know AT ALL, like never listened to before, so that'll be a fun evening.

I always find those are great opportunities, Tommy: you can discover mutual expectations quickly!

Since you don't know the songs, you don't know the "expected fills." So you have the flexibility to adapt and improvise. If that causes, say, the bass player to stare daggers at you, then you know you're dealing with at least one member who expects rote performance.

If, on the other hand, other members "go with it" and the songs mutate into something quite different on the spur of the moment, that's fantastic!

Have fun, man!
I am familiar with the works of Pablo Neruda.
