I like Greg Davies an that but I don't like when people who aren't usually in podcast's come in, changes it all, I used to skip most of the guests on the Russell Brand show.
I keep hoping that the bit's with just Ray and Ed at the start last longer.

Think it's quite refreshing having the guests like.
It's like a less aggressive/extreme version of The Ray Peacock Podcast, cause its an ever changing sorta 2 on 1.
And i like Ray and Ed just breaking from their roles and just being straight up funny.

Haven't listened to it yet - I am sure he'll be fine.

Had a nice little retweet and tweet-back off of Ray over the last two days, nice to get them really isn't it.

Gonna re-listen to Epi 10 before I do 11 later today, as I think I cut my nails or something during the interview and forgot to listen.

Didn't they already do 'one framed picture of malcolm x' as a joke a while back?
I'm loving these now though, I've got over the thing of not liking guests.

Seen these two last night at the Fringe. They were brilliant. It was amazing to see Naughty Keith in person, he looked even more mangled than I expected, haha. I'm going to buy a ticket for their Glasgow show too, can't get enough of 'em! Seriously, if you get the chance, you must go see them.

I was baffled by the opening of today's podcast. Had to google Imaan, all slotted into place.
Gutted that there's only a few more, I know Ray sometimes looks here so cheers for working yourself ill for these, I've bloody loved em.

These have been fun, some guests better than others but all of them were enjoyable. I was greatly amused by Mr. Gilbert, I wasn't aware until recently that he actually did comedy outside of just acting.

I'd also love more shows with just Ed and Ray, but these are a nice change of pace and offer something different.

I'm about half way through thus far.

Last few have been the best imo, the one with the woman one where they just chatted about random stuff was great.

Les Dennis was fantastic and looking forward to today's one with just the two of them.

Peacock & Gamble land R4 pilot
From podcast to airwaves
Peacock & Gamble land R4 pilot

Radio 4 have commissioned a pilot from Peacock & Gamble, based on their 2011 Edinburgh show Emergency Broadcast.

The premise of the show is that Ray Peacock and Ed Gamble live in a bunker beneath Broadcasting House where, in the event of a Radio 4 show dropping off the airwaves, they will be called on air to provide cover.

The stand-ups are best know for their Chortle-hosted podcast, which included a daily episode at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe.

They will record the pilot, to be made by the production arm of their agents Avalon, at the Soho Theatre on May 13. Tickets will be available nearer the time.

The duo said:'‘Emergency Broadcast is the show that wouldn't die, even though Chortle gave it a miserly four stars and tried to disregard it. But we knew better, we kept submitting it, no matter how many times the BBC said no and even ruder words.

We wore them down. They couldn't ignore us forever. They broke and caved in and gave us a "pilot" which is BBC-speak for ten series' and a million pounds.

’We are currently beavering away in our lighthouse getting the script just right. And watching 3D films when we need a break. It is mainly 3D films that we are watching rather than the writing to be honest. Have you seen Avengers in 3D? There's a bit where a big metal space worm comes right out at you. We kept winding that bit back.

’ But when we do eventually write it, it will be the single greatest five minutes of radio ever. Stretched out over half an hour. Oh I've just realised we need to maintain we live in a bunker under Broadcasting House now so forget the lighthouse thing.’
