PASSENGER: ALL THE LITTLE LIGHTS

Ruddy brilliant, it's very rare that I listen to an album where I enjoy every single track, but I really did with this album, every song is a gem.

10/10

les savy fav - root for ruin (for about the 400th time)
i think all i want in a partner is someone who likes les savy fav enough so that the phrase "show me your teeth and show me your tits" can enter common parlance disguised as a loving reference to the band but actually being a very sincere request from me. 10/10

Have been listening to that all day Saturday, Sunday and today, and every time i think of a favourite song i end up thinking 'wait, but there's (insert name of another track)' until i run out of songs. Currently loving I Prefer Your Love and Regret most, though that is essentially cause they're the last two tracks that have played through.
Seeing her Friday. Ridiculously excited.
people with leukaemia are just like everyone else. meaning, they can't do what i do.

Manchester Orchestra - Cope (2014)
Not the furthering of the expansive sound heard on Simple Math, but a stripped down rock album. Gets better with every listen. Cope, Top Notch, See It Again and Choose You (that chorus bro) are the picks of the bunch so far.
8/10

The Veils - Time Stays, We Go (2013)
Just wonderful. Definitely one of my new favourite bands. Another Night on Earth is heavenly.
9/10
Yes counselor Steve, I like the fun canoe.

red hot chili peppers - one hot minute
i don't really like red hot chili peppers and i'd say it's coz of how they spell "chili" but it's coz i just don't really like their music. i get annoyed at this album coz it says it is one hot minute but it's closer to sixty uneven minutes. this album was the one everyone hated and i don't know why, maybe the band started wearing clothes and everyone was calling them judas. i don't know but it's always my favourite one. it's still the old classic beloved infamous rich acclaimed seminal rhcp formula of some of the tracks are decent-ish and the rest are all very very gay. if someone walked in on me listening to the song pea i would be embarrassed to the point of whipping out a handkerchief and mopping my brow. seven thumbs up.

Because Dave Navarro was on it and John Frusciante wasn't. IMO Frusciante was always the most creative force when he was in the band. They sound alot different (worse) without him. But I will always hate any band fronted by Anthony Keidis.

I'm not sure if you're joking about not knowing who they are, but you're completely right about them all being smackheads (at some point in time)

they done used to be in at the drive-in (really good) and mars volta (really good if you love every song starting with 4 minutes of abstract sound). this one doesn't have pretentious names but is like what rush would sound like if members of rush used to be in at the drive-in and mars volta. the last song on it is dead gay so homophobes beware. seven thumbs up.

Totally agree. Keidis has managed to take every song and make it sound novelty and flippant. RHCP are on my list of bands that would be exponentially better without a singer altogether. At the moment it's a list comprising 2 bands, the other being Muse. But I'm always open to adding to it.
