Iron Maiden - The Final Frontier
Slash - Slash
Firewind - Days of Defiance
Ozzy Osbourne - Scream
Airbourne - No Guts, No Glory
Christopher Lee - Charlemagne
Rock Sugar - Reimaginator
Powerglove - Saturday Morning Apocalypse
Osmium Guillotine - How D'ya Like Them Apples?

Diana Vickers - Songs from the tainted cherry tree. 9/10.
Never in a million years expected to like this, and kept expecting the next song to be a shocker and then go downhill from there. But that never happened. very pleasently suprising if your willing to give it a go

Wow! Metacritic gave Animal Collective's 'Merriweather Post Pavillion' 89%, Radiohead's 'In Rainbows' 88%, and Sigur Ros' 'Agaetis Byrjun' 87%, and these are mind-blowing albums that have changed my life so I can't wait to hear this!

Oh. Sorry to say I didn't find it quite as good as those. Sorry again :(

new Decemberists is really really good! a breath of fresh air after the last couple concept albums, yet it still manages to be somewhat cohesive. I guess they can't help it.

So far, so great.

Local Natives album was also fantastic.

For anyone interested, my top 10 albums of the year:

1. Gorillaz - Plastic Beach
2. Arcade Fire - The Suburbs
3. Janelle Monae - The Archandroid
4. Cathy Davey - The Nameless
5. LCD Soundsystem - This Is Happening
6. Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
7. MGMT - Congratulations
8. Joanna Newsom - Have One On Me
9. Laura Marling - I Speak Because I Can
10. Jonsi - Go

The top 2 was a toss-up for quite a while, but Gorillaz just edges it. The list as a whole, as all lists are, is quite arbitrary in its order. Overall, I've had more fun with new releases this year than any I can remember. I believe I've found quite a few albums that I will return to long into the future.
