the step between this and 'for emma' is about the same as the step between 'for emma' and 'bon iver' in terms of songwriting and production

First bit is a bit unmemorable on first listen through, picks up a lot in the middle and then sort of peters out.

Enjoyed it a lot more when I listened to it again in it's entirety at work today. Prob a 7/8.

Really good follow up to 'Splazsh'. I have to say this is a bit of an acquired taste. I'm not saying that to sound elitist, I just mean that I understand if others find this type of music a pile of shit.

Refreshingly accessible Icelandic music that sounds like a more dreamy version of Mumford and Sons. Pleasant, eminently listenable but there's nothing challenging here.

"Shallow Bed"-Dry the River



Beautiful debut from a British band. One of my favorites from this year. If you like folk rock chock full of vocal harmonies, you'll probably want to check this out.
