God, Steve's fake "cover my mouth" laugh is excruciating.
Well, the whole thing is fake lol.

That clip makes me laugh. That and Barry from Extras were the best of LTS.

That was definitely the best episode of Life's too Short so far.

Life's Too Short up for Rose d'Or award

Ricky Gervais comedy Life's Too Short is up against Channel 4's Friday Night Dinner for the best sitcom prize at this year's Rose d'Or TV awards.

British TV is so shit if you look at the stuff that's nominated. The only worthwhile show listed for stuff is Black Mirror. So will LTS win best comedy?
Chinchilla: If I had you as a son I would obviously be devastated.
Marsy: Makes me so goddamn angry I want to squish him.
Dam Helder: You make Stevey look like ScottHanson.
ScottHanson: Great hair, great lad.

Friday Night Dinner was alright. Definitely better than LTS.
Black Mirror was interesting, kinda confused me though.

Black Mirror was awesome.

I doubt LTS will win any major awards tbh... but then again, it seems like the standard negative view in this place contravenes a slight majority of positive reviews.

Black Mirror was awesome. I loved each episode. Shame there were only three.

Also, where the hell is Sherlock on that list?

Sherlock might not count since it aired this year, but I'm not sure exactly how they're doing it.

From Ricky's Blog:

"I've started kicking round ideas with Steve for another Life's Too Short on top of all this. We are thinking of going straight to the Xmas Special. Lazier and lazier. Now it's down to ONE series and a special. Ha ha."

Well... yeah. Of course they're thinking of going straight to the Xmas Special. My guess is even that won't happen. The show was poorly received by anyone who really appreciates their work. I don't know any hardcore fans who LOVED the show as much as they loved The Office or Extras.

They're not gonna fix everything with a Xmas Special, but at least it's not gonna be another 7 episodes of dwarfs tripping up and celebrities popping up to say hello.

I'm assuming that means there has been no official commissioning of a second series, otherwise they'd know that's definitely what they're doing. And it's still only a 'thinking' of. I think it would give me way too much satisfaction than it probably should if the BBC decided to pass on any more LTS.

Course then Sky'd snap it right up.

I'd fucking love it to be canned. Then we'd just have to deal with Derek.

It'd give me much more satisfaction if the TV networks offered to renew it and nonetheless Ricky and Steve decided to knock it on the head because they realised it was shize.

Let's be as fair as we possibly can and at least wait for a trailer before we slag Derek off. I'm kind of looking forward to seeing Karly Pilkboids in a starring role.
