A friend of a friend of a friend (literally that) is apparently working at the moment on the Derek Pilot! I'll keep it short incase you're all aware of this already, or incase it turns out its bullshit, but Karl is supposed to be in it too as Dereks carer. They did a scene in the car pretty much unscripted where Karl is driving him somewhere and Ricky was sat in the back just pissing him off, sounds about right.

Oh and Karl has a silly wig, I think it was one of those U shaped hair styles like when you're just bald on the top.

I'm still not a big fan of the idea in general, there will be a lot of criticism. Its not like they have a Warwick Davis equivalent backing them like they had for some of the questions they've had for Life Too Short though**

I did spot my mistake CommitteCamel, but my apology was lost in a days worth of shit about how much we're supposed to hate a crap movie. The conclusion seems to be don't study Film and Media.

Anyway my cousin once got a pamphlet from his careers adviser about doing a Film studies course at uni, he didn't go in the end, but I think it's safe to say because of this I know most about films because I saw it poking out of his backpack once so everyone shut up so there an that

Neither, it's just something I like to use when a thread is derailed by pointless discussion about who should bow down to who through what qualifications they have. I get it you have opinions, you studied this at that place, take it to the watercooler or something.

Sorry, but I think I clearly pointed out earlier that just because I'm studying film, it doesn't mean my opinion is more valid. I said that way back at the beginning of the discussion. In fact, I don't think anyone who posted here claimed their opinion was more valid. It was a discussion. Are we supposed to come to you when we want to maybe talk about something, just to make sure you approve?

Why should you get to tell us what to talk about? If you don't like it, don't join in.
