I've just noticed something in Series 2 Episode 5 that I remember seeing before and thinking was odd: Who is the man in the blue shirt running down the corridor towards reception at 21.15 time elapsed?

Anyone else noticed this mysterious chap? Obviously Ricky and Steve failed to in the edit...

As many times as I have watched that scene, I just noticed this a couple days ago & thought it was weird too. Unless that was supposed to be an employee & that was his thing for Red Nose Day?

Yes, in a real life situation I recon they would have at least humoured Brent, and made an effort for the first few days. They just swanned in and thought they were better than Slough. Swindon lot... BOOOOOO!

Well, I imagine they weren't too happy with the fact that their branch closed and some of their coworkers lost their jobs. Probably didn't like having to transfer to a shitty place either. So I guess they just weren't in the right mindset to placate to Brent and pretend that he's funny. Seems realistic enough to me.

Even watching back the first series, most of the staff of the Slough branch seem unnecessarily twattish towards Brent. I'd like a job with a boss like Brent.

To me it's not only the most amazing thing ever shown on television. It is the most amazing thing ever, all categories. A continual flow of fucking genius for 7½ hours. And not only is it by far the best comedy of all time - it's an existential and sad and beautiful piece of art, too.

Just re discovered the office. It's phenomenal, brilliant, funny and sad. It may be 10 years old but it hasn't shown it's age.
