Anyone else noticed this mysterious chap? Obviously Ricky and Steve failed to in the edit...

As many times as I have watched that scene, I just noticed this a couple days ago & thought it was weird too. Unless that was supposed to be an employee & that was his thing for Red Nose Day?
Doubt it.
I wouldn't expect you to diss me or ma black queen.
Have you seen any dangly eyes today, Suzanne? Nope, me either.

Sure this has been talked about before. Anyone else think the Swindon lot are kind of cockish to Brent and it's not really his fault they didn't really get along?

Yes, in a real life situation I recon they would have at least humoured Brent, and made an effort for the first few days. They just swanned in and thought they were better than Slough. Swindon lot... BOOOOOO!

Well, I imagine they weren't too happy with the fact that their branch closed and some of their coworkers lost their jobs. Probably didn't like having to transfer to a shitty place either. So I guess they just weren't in the right mindset to placate to Brent and pretend that he's funny. Seems realistic enough to me.

I'd rather work for Brent than that smug cund Neil.

Even watching back the first series, most of the staff of the Slough branch seem unnecessarily twattish towards Brent. I'd like a job with a boss like Brent.

To me it's not only the most amazing thing ever shown on television. It is the most amazing thing ever, all categories. A continual flow of fucking genius for 7½ hours. And not only is it by far the best comedy of all time - it's an existential and sad and beautiful piece of art, too.
I like to assess each case individually.

Just re discovered the office. It's phenomenal, brilliant, funny and sad. It may be 10 years old but it hasn't shown it's age.

I'm going to e-mail Richard and tell him I agree.

I haven't watched it for 3 years now, and used to watch every 2 or 3 months. Gonna have to do it soon.

Think we'll do an Office rewind in the summer what with it being the 10th Anniversary.

First ep was broadcast 7th July 2001.
