The Official "Xfm Series 1" Thread

Postby Christina » Thu 06 May, 2010 1:27 am

Here lives our thread for all Xfm Series 1 Discussions. Get on it!

Stuff what I stole from our Pilkipeople:

Genii wrote:Xfm Series 1 ran from September 2001 to May 2002 and marked the return of Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant to their former employers, Xfm following the Capital Group takeover in 1998. Karl Pilkington joined them as producer and steadily became more involved. The development of Ricky and Steve's relationship with Karl was apparent over the course of the series, and by the end Karl had become an essential part of the show.

* Dates: October 2001 - May 2002
* No. of Shows: 23
* Features: Song For The Ladies, Hip-Hop Hooray, White Van Karl

Only because Steve has awful taste in music. And no, not just because it's hip-hop.

Hip hop hooray was awesome!

Except for Bad Babysitter.

White Van Karl is great too, gives us an early glimpse into the weird mind of ol' Pilkers.

Don't get me started on Bad Babysitter.
I can't believe they even tried to say it was good.

It's a good feature, just because of Smerch's faux-ghetto schtick.
