Anyone know much about Organs? I don't know much at all but i'd like to start learing after seeing Keith Emerson on "Prog at the Beeb". Problem is they're massive and I want one I can fit in my room. Anyone know anything aobut them, or play them? Or should I just learn the keyboard?

I can't claim to know much about them, but if you're only at the stage where you're just thinking of learning then I'd definitely recommend starting out with the keyboard first, due to the space/cost issues of buying an organ, you'll still learn all the basics you need and can then splash out on a 'spensive one once you've progressed.

I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere about sitting alone in your room playing with your organ.

Bumping this ol' thread back.

We completed the mixing of our EP last weekend, I've uploaded 'em all to the Myspace now - 5 tracks in total, 1 original and 4 covers (One is a medley of 3 'Misfits' songs), we tried to make it an even mix of rock, punk and metal tracks as we don't really want to be tied down to one specific style.

Considering when this thread was first started I'd never even played the drums before, I'm more than happy with the overall outcome. :)

Releasing covers without permission is illegal. I'm telling.

I love how the guy on the left of the front cover is the least convinced of his apple..
He looks like, he kinda likes them apples..
They found them both in the same distance...
