If you can't look a nob in the face... There's something wrong with you.. The entire series has been fucking brilliant, bring on series two!
Chinchilla: If I had you as a son I would obviously be devastated.
Marsy: Makes me so goddamn angry I want to squish him.
Dam Helder: You make Stevey look like ScottHanson.
ScottHanson: Great hair, great lad.

What a wonderful sendoff to a wonderful series. Much thanks to Karl, Ricky, and Steve for making it all possible.

Series was great fun, loved every episode.

Next series has to be karl pilkingtons natural wonders, put him with storm chasers and stuff,he said he wants to see a tornado.

Nice touch sending him back to wales, loved how chuffed he was when he walked into the caravan and then slowly realised it was only good because he was a kid back then lol.

That was amazing. I possibly enjoyed it more than some of the actual "travel" episodes. Ricky and Steve just add another dimension, and watching him in Wales was hilarious. The final montage was great too.

For all the series hilarity (and there was lots), that little ending montage really demonstrated just how great the series looked too. The shot from behind Karl overlooking the hills in Peru was genuinely quite great.

Loved the final episode, as expected/mentioned it was just like a video podcast; being able to see as well as hear them adds a whole extra dimension of comedy, Karl acting out a baby rolling out of it's cot was fucking hilarious, and just the phrase "If you can't look a knob in the face" had me in stitches.

The trip to Wales was great also, a nice little insight into Karl's youth. Another big "lol" at Karl trying to demonstrate how easy the sofa bed folds out.

Quite sad to see the series draw to an ending. I'm sure they'll have something else in the works for him, even if it's not travelling abroad again. I'd like to see him take on a Louie Theroux type of role.

Oh man. A televised podcast. Amazing. It was what I hoped the free podcast would be, but better. Plus, I found out it's Steve who makes that snorting noise - I always assumed it was Ricky! I get the impression they filmed for a lot longer than was broadcast, would love to see the whole thing.

Yeah, definitely. A couple of the promo clips for the DVD were filmed in that same set, I hope they cram as much bonus stuff on the DVD as they can fit, they must've gotten plenty of good stuff with those 3 just sitting in a room.

Haven't posted for a while but have watched all the episodes of An Idiot Abroad.

The whole series has been 'brillnant'. It was both fly and dope.

Genuinely the best bit of television I've seen in recent times. I think we've seen everything of Karl there. Ricky is so right in the XFM days when he says "look at his little face!" Because there is so much more to Karl than his voice. He totally cracks me up.

The Mexican "bulls and bees scene" is my favourite bit of the series. "There's a load of bees over here!" But I shouldn't pick favourites, Karl's odd look at the fella in the Egypt episode when he's humming is priceless too. Superbly shot and a real view of the world.

And the series ended with Ricky, Steve and Karl in a room with the camera running. (something I've been waiting forever for!) Karl just letting his mouth talk, Ricky reacting (so funny when Ricky almost stands up when Karl goes "what would they want?") and Steve's witty interactions, "don't you mean Belgravia?". The role plays were fantastic, "congress tart!"

Did anyone also notice how much they point at each other? You lose all that with the audio recordings and you never see hand gestures, the acting (Ricky's persona of Karl's Dad) or how they sit (Steve was almost 'vertical' at one point in that chair).

Long live Karl and long live RSK.

I found a bunch of music from the show.. not sure if it has been posted? I loved the music actually, very quirky. Unfortunatly the shall we say idiot abroad 'theme' which is called 'the wrestler' by the looks of it, is a bit different in this version. If anyone has the show version I would love to hear it.

I love the music on the show, I'm glad they didn't go for using well-known songs as it helps give the show that unique feel.
Actually regardless of all the Karl and Ricky/Steve funny stuff; this show was also brilliantly filmed and edited, it looks and sounds great as well as everything else.
