List Of all the documentaries mentioned?

Postby robbyduffy » Wed 31 Aug, 2011 1:15 am

I couldn't find any names of the programs mentioned during the shows such as the weirdest place in Britain or whatever. I'd like to see what karls fuss is about.

I've not had the chance to watch it yet, but I've seen a clip: it's peculiar that there is a village put together of people with various conditions. My mam cares for people like that, so Im familiar with a lot of the behaviour, but it's just such an odd concept to sort of... cut them off in their own village.
It fascinates me.

edit: I just watched the first 10 minutes, what wonderful people. I can't help but feel it's slightly... I don't like to say cruel because its not the right word, so I'll say peculiar again, that they are separated from the rest of the world.
The word 'experiment' was used, and although they seemed to be cared for and well looked after, I just can't help think they'd be better off being part of a real community, not put away in a village away from the rest of us. I've seen how happy being in a real community makes the people my mam looks after.

I love the line:
'Don't judge a banana by it's skin, or an orange by it's peel' how poetic.
