We make television for a British audience and it's still amazing to me that most countries in the world have my fat face beamed into homes once a week. Ricky Gervais - Ricky´s Tumblr

Did anyone else see steve on the one show last night?
Here is it incase.
It was quite funny, ricky and warwick both left him messages.
And he had to practice how to chat up a woman.

That One Show video was quite funny. Steve was in his element during the chat up scenarios.

Interview with Ryan Tubridy on Irish radio:

(if that doesn't work go to this page: http://2fm.rte.ie/tubridy#podcast_panel)

Largely devoted to the endlessly fascinating subject of Steve's height...

Haven't listened yet, but I fear the worst. Tubridy is dreadful.

He manages to slip in a reference to very thin people and very tall ones being seen as a legit target for abuse in a way fat or short ones aren't.

I'm not generally a fan but I find him okay doing this sort of light, flippant chat with vaguely kindred spirits. I thought he came across pretty well when he was 'filling Graham Norton's slot' on BBC Radio 2 over the summer, sounded much more in his element than he does on 2fm...

Yeah, I was laughing almost constantly throughout that. He played the role of an intimidating hoodie to perfection.
