Sibera - LIGHTS

Electro-pop but LIGHTS has always been one of my favorites to listen to just for fun.

Coldplay - Mylo Xyloto
It's just not fully there - an almost unpronounceable title, a weak concept and average songs destroyed by overproduction. Far from an enjoyable listen. 6/10

Arkham City - The Album
Shite. One or two cool tracks that fit the tone of the game, and are also just good songs, everything else is dire. The presence of Panic at the Disco insults me to no end. I knew I should have been wary of an album "inspired" by the game. I'll download the actual OST next, which just based on playing the game, is infinitely better.

Justice – Audio, Video, Disco

This got shit-canned by pitchfork and I can understand why. Nowhere near as innovative as their first album. But that doesn’t make this any less awesome for me. I absolutely LOVE this album. It has had me dancing like a complete moron for the past couple of days, sometimes while at work. There must be nothing more reassuring to a manager than seeing one of his young employees doing the robot at his desk when he should be working.

2 days ago, the deluxe edition of Ceremonials finally arrived on the mail. I'm in love with this album. So good.

Iceage - New Brigade

Old school punk/post punk, from a gaggle of teenagers from Denmark. Joy Division meets Oi! Punk, but somehow fresh.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds

An enjoyable romp through steady beats, orchestra pieces and all too familiar Oasis references (there are two for Wonderwall).

This solo debut is still enjoyable though, very much so. It pushes some wider boundaries that he perhaps wanted to try with Oasis that caused the big split back in 2009.

A cracking listen and ideal for driving to but I can't help fear we've heard some of it before..

7.5/10
