It was fine, wasn't that funny, but alright. It wasn't edgy, he didn't have a go at people, but I didn't want him to, that's boring, he's better when he's just having a laugh.

The show overall was pretty boring, wasn't really rooting for anyone to win apart from Dinklage.

Everyone seems to be rather accepting of his hosting this year, since he wasn't overly offensive. But he wasn't funny either. At least he was funny last year (some may not agree here, but I laughed at most jokes he told). This year was dull, it was just him going on about last time he did it.

I love that Ricky said NOTHING edgy at all the whole night and yet a quote in Metro today from him after the show said ''I only do things that could end my career now. That’s the fun. That’s my extreme sport."

I'm not sure what part of writing a handful of safe, sub par intros for an awards ceremony could end your career. Writing the mother of all shitcoms yeah, but this no.

Final grumble I swear... It annoys me how much of a soapbox atheist he is, but in the promotion for this he's happy to pose for photoshoot after photoshoot as some beardy equivalent of the devil.

I'm not saying he's a hypocrite, but just find it a bit weird why someone who bangs on about how all of religion if stupid and moronic and basically campaigns daily for its irradiation would keep dressing up as one of the main figures from Christianity.
