Such a brilliant, brilliant group. This has probably been done a few times over now - apologies that I didn't read the entire thread up until this point - but which is everyone's favourite song?
Mine would probably be High and Dry. Just epic. Although I do love Karma Police too. Ok Computer is definitly be my favourite album.
Great thread.
"If you want to see a rainbow you have to put up with the rain" - You know which "philosopher" said that? Dolly Parton...and people say she's just a big pair of tits
Seeing Radiohead here in Dallas in just three short weeks, and REALLY wishing I didn't know for a FACT that they'll focus on the new stuff. And that Jonny will change all the guitar lines.
Having said that, they always do put on a great performance.
If it helps anybody, this is the playlist I put together to make The King Of Limbs and pre- and post- tracks more palatable.
1. These Are My Twisted Words 2. Bloom 3. Morning Mr. Magpie 4. The Daily Mail 5. Feral 6. The Butcher 7. Lotus Flower 8. Harry Patch (In Memory Of) 9. Little By Little 10. Give Up The Ghost 11. Staircase 12. Supercollider 13. Separator 14. Codex
just in case you wanna try it...

I've come around to In Rainbows of late, but not King of Limbs. Hail to the Thief is just amazing and anyone who doesn't think so can also get bent. Old stuff remains immortal but most new stuff is now also.
Having said that, if I were to see them live I'd definitely be hoping to see them play more old stuff, because the first notes of anything from OK Computer, The Bends or Kid A would be more likely to make me cream my panties.

Word for word what Jack said. Also, their shows sold out in two minutes for the closest LA show :| so I'll be watching Coachella on youtube
mbbb: she has two moods-hungry and threatened mbbb: you can determine her response based on those things
gtpod: It's like Ricky said about Steve, you just command much more respect.
Here, tickets went on sale at 10:00am on a Saturday morning. We had ours by 10:02am. We don't fuck around with this stuff.
The thing with Radiohead live is that they not only focus on the new stuff, but if a song was a proper hit, they often disavow it. But you'll always get Thom's favorites, which is why you're pretty much guaranteed to see "How To Disappear Completely", "There There", or the band's all-time favorite, "Pyramid Song."
So if you don't like any of those, you're SOL. Personally, I love them. (Obviously!)
The last time we saw them (that's right, bitches!), they not only played ALL of Disc One of In Rainbows, but they played a song off Disc Two as well ("Bangers & Mash"). By contrast, they played NOTHING from Pablo Honey, TWO songs from OK Computer ("Exit Music" and "Paranoid Android"), and TWO songs from The Bends ("Fake Plastic Trees" and "The Bends").
Moral of the story: if you go to see Radiohead these days, you had BETTER like the new stuff.

I saw them a few years ago. It was all right, as SR said it was very In Rainbows-heavy, a lot from Kid A too, an album I've only come to appreciate recently enough. Could even be my favourite now.
But yeah, they were fine, but the crowd were shit; full of lifeless, chin-stroking cunts (the biggest cheer came just before the gig started, when a rainbow appeared after a heavy shower). Also it was an outdoor gig in June so it was bright for most of it, which probably contributed to the dull atmosphere, and frustrated Thom, who asked jokingly at one point if it ever gets dark in Ireland. It did pick up when it eventually got dark, but that's probably because they ended it with Just and Paranoid Android. I would like to see em again in an arena, but wouldn't be arsed if they're focusing on King Of Limbs, a completely mediocre album.
Everyone is saying "Gabbo this" and "Gabbo that". But no one is saying "Worship this" and "Jericho that"!
I have so much to say about the amazingness of this show, and yet illness precludes me. So I'll let my little video do most of the talking.
Suffice it to say that if, like me, you'd been balking at the new stuff, it comes across AMAZINGLY WELL live - so much so, you won't miss the complete absence of Pablo Honey and The Bends. (I'm going to spoiler tag the setlist, but they aren't playing the same show everywhere so it doesn't really matter.) Two new, unreleased songs, one of which was quite good and the other was amazingly good. They also seem to be doing a "surprise B-side" each night. Ours was OK...
Weirdly, the only lowlight of the night was "Pyramid Song" (which they pretty much always play so that's no spoiler). It lacked its usual ambient energy, but maybe that was in contrast to the other stuff.
Thom was in a great mood, which always helps, and the rest of the band seemed fairly energetic. Colin had what appeared to be this intense death-stare the whole time - until I realized it was just an effort to hear himself and stay locked in with Phil.
Anyway, here's the setlist for those who wish to know - I can't stress enough how much BETTER it was in person than in print...
1. Bloom 2. Little By Little 3. Weird Fishes/Arpeggi 4. Morning Mr. Magpie 5. The Gloaming 6. The Daily Mail 7. Pyramid Song 8. The Amazing Sounds of Orgy(!) 9. Karma Police 10. 15 Step 11. Staircase 12. Identikit (New Song) 13. Lotus Flower 14. There There 15. Feral 16. Idioteque
Encore 1 17. Separator 18. Climbing Up The Walls 19. Bodysnatchers 20. True Love Waits (verse 1)/Everything In Its Right Place
Encore 2 21. Give Up The Ghost 22. Skirting On The Surface (New Song) 23. Reckoner 24. Paranoid Android
And here's my less-than-90 second video review. It's better than most of my video material as my wife is in it...ND, I couldn't remember if you've seen Radiohead before or not, so my apologize if you HAVE...
