Stephen Merchant to appear in Movie 43

It seems that Steve will be doing this film called 'Movie 43'.

It has loads of stars including Gerard Butler, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Knoxville, Kate Winslet, Emma Stone, Uma Thurman and loads more.

Apparently it's 'A feature-film comprised of short comedy segments.' Peter Farrelly (Hall Pass, Something About Mary) and Charles Wessler (Dumb and Dumber) are involved.

It's scheduled to be released in April 2012.

Looks interesting. I love how Smerch's film appearances are better thank Ricky's, yet he's the more successful.

Later this year, we'll get the short-film collection MOVIE 43, about a couple of college kids searching through film archives looking for the famed and elusive Movie 43. Along their search, they find several other short films (all directed by different directors and starring some very big name actors), with a wrap-around story directed by Peter......which will make it to theaters on 26th of August

It's been rescheduled for a release in January 2013.

A trailer was leaked for a bit before promptly being taken down. Some of the Tumblr fans managed to make a gif of Stephen's appearance out of it. Make of it as you will.

The same people who made the first one are coming back along with Carrey and Daniels. Would love to see Karl in this!

Sounds like one of those really bad megacast films like New Year's Eve or something. But it could be the exact opposite for all I know.
