Not until next season apparently

Last nights was 'Day in the Life'. Pretty good. But I think I preferred last season. Just enough animation to keep it fresh, this year somehow feels a bit 'forced' or something. Can't quite put my finger on what it is. It's still great though

Also, the "what a mong" line was included... Wonder if it will cause a second uproar?

Not a bad episode this one. A day in the life of Karl. Did anyone else notice that little animation of Steve lifting up his glasses and wiping his eyes :) I like it cos it wasn't part of the conversation or anything, it was just thrown in there.

Steve's last line of the ep cracked me up.

Man I wish these were 1hr long, especially the upcoming Guide To's. How cool to have those in full.

Yeah I wonder what it would have been like with all the filler and trying to keep the animation smooth with a 1 hour show. I always want more, that's for sure.

Because I haven't been listening to them that much, I find these a great way to revisit the later podcasts, which I have probably only gone through a couple of times...

Was googling episodes list of season 3 and I saw on wiki that the next couple of episodes are all guides (the english, society, law and order, etc). The only new ones are Wartime and Year.

never seen any of this before, but i caught the tail-end of one on e4 just now. it was the armed forces one and from what i saw it was good stuff. 'goodnight vienna' had me chuckling for ages.

That's been the best one for me personally, purely for the fact it was new material so I got the most genuine laughs from it. The other episodes have been good but most of the laughs come from just re-remembering some of the old jokes/anecdotes I'd sort of forgotten, and from the little in-jokes in the animation.
I'm looking forward to series 4, if the rumours are true that it's gonna be all-new material.

I've been catching up on 40D, and I'm liking this series. The last one, about the army has been my favourite so far too.
I just love the cartoon versions of Karl's family, so I love it when they're all together, and this one had plenty of them.

Yeah, they're all just Karl with different hairstyles.

Latest ep was good. Based on RGGT:Law and Order. Sometimes you have to be eagle eyed to spot the detail. Theres a bit whereKarl was complaining about people being loud out in the street and he closed the window which resulted in a shutter nearly falling off. Of course that was a reference to Karl being told by Ricky that he didn't put the shutters on properly when he did his DIY and Karl was moaning about Suzanne being heavy-handed.

The hostage scene was really well done.

Yeah I agree, the hostage scene was the best part, worked really well. And the ending was hilarious too.

One thing I noticed just at the very start of the episode, you can hear the tail-end of the intro music from the 'Guide to Law and Order' before Ricky starts talking. Thought it was a bit odd, as I would've thought they'd have the original audio recordings to use, rather than have to edit it from the actual audiobook and attempt to cut out the intro music.

Yeah that seemed very minor league

They could've just faded their own HBO theme tune over it
