Pilkipedia uses a standard form of Wiki "markup" which allows you to use shortcuts to format text, rather than using the more complicated HTML. Below is a summary of formatting syntax, you can find more detail Help:Editing_pages .

One of the best ways to learn is to look at the markup for an existing page that you want to copy. Click Edit to see the markup, and then cancel.

Paragraphs

Mediawiki ignores normal line breaks. To start a new paragraph, leave an empty line. You can also start a newline with the HTML tag <br />.
