'Fame' has run for over 100 shows across the UK mainland, including a long stint in London and will be followed by a number of shows at New York's Madison Square Gardens. The show focusses on Gervais' attempts to deal with fame following his widespread success with [[The Office]] and [[Extras]] on both sides of the Atlantic, and was reported to be the fastest selling stand-up tour in British history. Gervais also erected a large poster commemorating this success in Trafalgar Square. 'Fame' features support on it's UK leg from Gervais' friend, fellow comic [[Robin Ince]].
