One of the more memorable primates from [[Monkey News]], Alfred was a monkey who, according to Karl, intervened in a bank robbery and stole the crook's loot and gun. He then proceeded to back out of the bank with the weapon and the money. Afterwards, Alfred used the cash to negotiate the release of his fellow monkeys from the local zoo. Proof of Alfred's existence has never been found probably because the story was emailed to Karl by a number of listeners, instead of him sourcing it himself. For quite some time Ricky used the story of Alfred as benchmark for which other Monkey News stories were measured against as he felt it was the worst and most nonsensical.
