Sick Of It will star Karl as a fictional version of himself, as his character is dumped by his long-term girlfriend and forced to live with his old auntie. Sky 1 revealed: "Sick of It is a scripted comedy series that sees Karl Pilkington take on two roles – himself, and the voice inside his head, as he muddles through the mundane life he may have led if he hadn't met Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant."

Production

Written by Karl alongside director Richard Yee, Sick of It is being produced by the team behind An Idiot Abroad and The Moaning of Life, and distributed through Pilkington's 'Alrite Productions'. Pre-production began mid 2017 and first filming began in October 2017. Much of the comedy, which is set in Brighton, is filmed in North London. Local resident David Howard captured early filming.
