Grammar is discussed with the Star Trek quote "To boldly go where no man has gone before" analysed by Steve and Rufus with Rufus concluding it should be "To go boldly where no man had gone before" in order to avoid the split infinitive. Steve's idea to have a show totaly devoted to grammar is shot down when it is discovered that there is already a show of that nature on 6Music.

Rufus' Choice of song wins Steve's favour over Sarah.

After failing to prove his knowledge on subjects sent in by the listener Rufus explains how a plane stays in the air to Steve, but not comprehensively,.

A welcome mention of Dr. Neil Fox appears, Steve repeats his common complaint concerning the presenter; he is "not a real doctor".

Steve catches up with Dave Greenwood again to see how he is going with his walk from Land's End to John O' Groats which has no particular reason. He has been going for seven weeks and the Scottish whether is getting to him.
