Popular long-running American cartoon, featuring the fictional suburban family of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and baby Maggie, as well as hundreds of other characters such as Krusty the Clown and Duffman. Originating as a sketch on the Tracy Ullman show, the Simpsons grew and grew and have starred in 14 series of the show, including one episode written by Ricky Gervais and a movie.
