Your User Rights

Hi, I've updated your account (and User:Duke33 and User:T_a_c_o's) to 'sysop' so you can upload pictures and update the main page. There's been a lot of news in the last week and I haven't had a chance to update it. Hopefully, between the four of us we should stay on top of it. Also, the user rights promotion is a bit of a thank you for all your help, so thanks for that.

SS--- where did you get your info about Jennifer Taylor-Clark(e??) Wikipedia, and WernhamHogg.co.uk have it with the E. So ... um .... I think it's with an E?? Steve is King 19:04, 19 July 2007 (EDT)

Internet Movie Database and The Office's official site at bbc.co.uk/comedy/theoffice have it as "Clark". Tis a mystery so's it is (I've been listening to too much Russell Brand as well). SmugglingSeaweed.

ahhh..... i see, i see. i should know by now that wikipedia has a few errors here and there, huh?! and WH.co.uk obviously too. i don't trust imdb but obviously i do trust the queen's station website.  :) good work. Steve is King 00:44, 20 July 2007 (EDT)

obscureness

SS - i'm not sure i understand the motivation behind your latest work today. all the obscure people you can think of? well, either way .... any people should have 'people category' tags. they are - bracket bracket Category: People|Seaweed, Smuggling bracket bracket. if that makes sense. check out another people page if it doesn't. --Steve is King 07:43, 4 August 2007 (EDT)

Just trying to work through the "Wanted Pages" list bit by bit, without copying and pasting from Wikipedia. Smuggling Seaweed.

oh ... um ... what is that? there's still a lot about this site i don't know. where is that located? cheers - Steve is King 09:57, 4 August 2007 (EDT)

Special Pages -> Wanted Pages to get to it. SmuggglingSeaweed.

prototype

hey SS - i likey. looks good and really does cover what we need. i'd love to see that for all the shows and will see what knockinabout and squeek think. they're the hard workers on the transcribing efforts right now.

bullet points are simple - an asterisk. you may not have access to upload images though (yet?). check by going to "upload file" on the left under toolbox and try to upload something.

i suggest looking at other pages (go to "edit") to see how they were made and what you need to do to get your page to look like that. it's how i've learned a lot and also the reason most of my pages look the same. XD

great work!

I was told to post here on transcripts and that. I like the bullet format summary. Obviously this would be easier to do than full transcripts, and it should catch search terms when looking for an episode. The reason why I like transcripts is for completeness. It provides the ability to take verbatim quotes, anecdotes and stories for use somewhere else. And it catches all search terms. Just my humble opinion. I'd have to say though, that if we can't get more transcribers than we have now, we should abort or take an extended break.--Knockinabout 23:25, 14 August 2007 (EDT)

poll

hey SS, would you consider a new poll now? i have zero ideas or i might try to do it. you're the pro ... would you? Steve is King 20:21, 30 September 2007 (EDT)
