Micky Jervais and Stefan Munchousen spent many a Saturday afternoon broadcasting their flirtatious chitty chat with fellow fist-fighter Carl Wilkinson. Between them they were the most rock-hard crew this side of the FM dial and fought their way all across the city of England. On one occasion the Mayor of Chile launched a punch at small child's ear and knocked the hearing out of him. Micky led The Revenge Force into to a savage battle that saw six people lost their lives, but found them again three weeks later in a bottle bank in the supermarket car park. The trio's fightboxing ended when Carl's dukes were put up too fast and his fist flew off.

Xfm Series 1

Xfm Series 1

Xfm Series 1 ran from September 2001 to May 2002 and marked the return of Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant to their former employers, Xfm following the Capital Group takeover in 1998. Earlier in the year Ricky and Steve had co-written and co-directed the first series of their sitcom The Office. It was broadcast in July 2001 to critical acclaim and the success of the sitcom was thought to have been a factor in Xfm's re-hiring of Ricky and Steve. Further evidence of their success could be seen in the fact that Xfm had given them a producer, unlike their old Xfm show which they had had to produce themselves. Their new producer was a laconic, round-headed Mancunian by the name of Karl Pilkington, who was originally an off-air producer. However, Ricky and Steve found his contributions hilarious and with their encouragement Karl got steadily more involved. The development of Ricky and Steve's relationship with Karl was apparent over the course of the series, and by the end Karl had become an essential part of the show.

Xfm Series 2

Xfm Series 2

Xfm Series 2 ran from August 2002 to August 2003. Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant were back from filming the second series of The Office, and Karl Pilkington was back having recently produced Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's Xfm show.

Soon things were back to normal, with Ricky and Steve equally entertained and scornful of Karl's peculiar outlook on life. And as well as through his opinions and anecdotes, Karl also contributed to the series with several features such as 'Rockbusters', 'Monkey News' and 'Educating Ricky'.

Xfm Series 3

Xfm Series 3

Xfm Series 3 ran from November 2003 to January 2004, and consisted of just 12 shows, including one 'Best of'. The series began with Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant fresh from filming The Office Christmas specials. Meanwhile, Karl has gone back on his promise never to do another radio show with Ricky and Steve again because he's managed to get Mondays off. Ricky thinks Karl is exploiting the situation to get out of doing his job. A few weeks later Ricky is outraged when Karl tells him that he's going to Lanzarote on holiday. However, at the end of the series justice is had when Ricky and Steve start gaying Karl up.

Xfm Series 4

Xfm Series 4

Xfm Series 4 ran for just six weeks from May 2005 to June 2005.

This time Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant had just finished making Extras. Highlights of this short run included Karl confessing he doesn't have medical check-ups for fear od the "finger up the arse" test and the story of Ricky and Karl's golfing adventures. The series ended with a shorter-than-usual show, as Ricky had to go to Live8 to introduce R.E.M.
