Singer popular in the '70s and '80s and in the 2000s following sampling of one of his songs by a dance act. Featured on Celebrity Big Brother. Referenced by Ricky on the 24 November 2001 Xfm show for wearing short jackets as he is a short fella, and by Karl on the 30 March 2002 show for the time he accidentally pulled off someone's plastic arm at a concert and kept walking down the aisle still holding it.
