Ricky reviewed Schindler's List as part of his weekly Film Review, on Xfm. During the review he wondered why most of it was in black and white except one item of clothing, which was red. He gave the film 9 out of 10.
Gervais mentions the movie in his stand-up, Politics, claiming that he mistook it for a porn movie, from the fact that it was displayed on the top shelf, and on the blurb, had a quote saying 'Always have box of tissues ready.' He said he only used two.
