i couldn't find this page when i was searching for it .... the characters pages don't link here (i think) and these things don't redirect here:

  • The us office
  • the american office
  • the office: an american workplace...

any way to redirect these search things or others?, because most wont search the office (US series)

hmmmmm....... your first 2 do direct you to the list which includes The Office (US Series). your 3rd doesn't, though. you really couldn't find it? there must be a way to redirect those searches to this page. anybody know it? (PS please sign your talk posts. 4 tildes or hit the 2nd to last icon above). Steve is King 09:00, 10 September 2007 (EDT)

should i just write 'chinchilla' after what i've written?...i don't understand the last bit you've written -chinch (probbly isnt the place for me to ask you this)

sorry. for a wiki signature you hit this key -----> ~ <----4x OR when you're on the editing page, there's a row of icons above (blue-gray color) .. for bolding, italicising, underlining, etc. the 2nd to last one is a signature icon. Steve is King 09:43, 10 September 2007 (EDT)

I set up redirects, hopefully that will help divert some searches. If anyone thinks they are excessive, feel free to delete them.--Knockinabout 12:00, 10 September 2007 (EDT)

Old Business

hey guys, i hope this article is not too horrifically boring. i did the unfortunate of mostly just pasting from wikipedia. i tried to distill the info as much as i could but i only added about 1% of original material. perhaps others more creative than i will tweak it. at least it exists. oh, and the same for the character pages ... distilled info from wikipedia and NBC.com/the office mostly. Laid some seedwork for the article, I figure actually having the page here might inspire some action. Anyway, just a skeleton for now, please feel free to add content in any way shape or form. Or if you think my skeleton idea is lame, feel free to scrap it and do your own thing. At least it's here. I basically copied Pilkipedia's framework for The Office and added a section for Ricky and Steve (this is Pilkipedia after all) so we could quote them from early radio shows when they were first starting it ("Money for old rope") and other interviews. The text up top is from Wikipedia; I didn't want it to be totally naked. It looks like Nig made some templates for it so check those out and it could do with some pics (obviously).--Knockinabout 18:27, 27 July 2007 (EDT)
